Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia has appointed Dale Corporation Chief Strategic Officer, Floyd Lebrón, the next chair of its board of directors, effective Sept. 26.

Lebrón will replace Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Senior Vice President of Real Estate, Facilities and Operations, Donald E. Moore, whose three-year tenure as board chair comes to an end.
Lebrón was appointed to Habitat Philadelphia’s board in 2017, serving on the build committee to grow and operationalize all aspects of the organization’s project planning.
“This is a time of incredible potential for growth in the affordable housing sector,” said Lebrón, “and I look forward to working alongside our partners in the business and philanthropic communities to secure needed resources for Philadelphia homeowners and open doors of opportunity for first-time buyers. It’s especially meaningful to me to begin this new leadership journey during Hispanic Heritage Month.”

Board chairs are appointed to a one-year term and may be renewed for two additional one-year terms.
Lebrón joined Dale Corporation in 1996 as a project manager and became a risk manager in 2013. He recently took on the role of chief strategic officer. In his 28 years with the company, he has overseen commercial, residential and educational projects throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.

Lebrón was recently named to the board of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia and serves on the oversight board of Rebuild Philadelphia.
Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is on track to build and sell 17 new affordable homes and complete 150 critical home repairs this fiscal year.
