Last year’s event of 1,100+ guests raised more than $470,000. The success and growth of this event through the years is possible thanks to strong partners who share our vision of a Philadelphia where everyone deserves a decent place to live.
Dietz & Watson is one of those partners who has been there since the beginning. What started as a friendship grew into a partnership impacting the lives of many Philadelphians seeking stability through shelter. Cindy Yingling, CFO of Dietz & Watson explains how this relationship grew.
“Dietz & Watson is a family company. We first got involved with Habitat due to a relationship between our family and the family of Patrick Monaghan. Patrick’s family set up a nonprofit called Patrick’s Dreams, and they donated money directly to Habitat. We supported Patrick’s Dreams and then ultimately directly to Habitat.”
“We view our continued support of Habitat as an investment in our local community. It’s not hard to see the kind of impact their efforts have on the lives of so many families living in the city we call home,” Cindy says. “Dietz & Watson continues to support Habitat because they make Philadelphia a better and brighter place to live.”
Throughout the past decade, Dietz & Watson has seen our Building Hope Luncheon grow in size which contributed to Habitat growing in impact. In honor of the 10th Anniversary of this event, Dietz & Watson stepped up to the plate and increased their support to the $10,000 level.
Cindy is excited to see where Habitat goes next: “Over the next ten years, we know the construction and repair numbers will continue to climb. We hope that climb is exponential.”
Thank you, Dietz & Watson and our other 10-year sponsors for supporting Habitat Philadelphia’s mission for a decade and counting:
