Director of Strategic Partnerships
Carrie joined Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia in December of 2013, after a five-year tenure as Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, another volunteer-driven housing organization that provides critical repairs for low income homeowners. At Habitat, Carrie focuses on neighborhood revitalization, project financing, development, advocacy, construction industry engagement and partnership development.
Carrie holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in special education from John Hopkins University. She has a certificate in non-profit management and financial management from the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business.
Prior to working in affordable housing, she taught in the Baltimore City Public School system and later worked as the Assistant Director of Philadelphia Reads, a local literacy organization dedicated to raising a city of readers throughout Philadelphia.
