Sharswood Virtual Reality Tour

Visit the neighborhood with Future Habitat Homeowner Sierra.

Future Habitat Homeowner Sierra and Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s CEO Corinne O’Connell tour Sierra’s soon-to-be neighborhood in Sharswood, North-Central Philadelphia. Sierra will be one of 20 Habitat Homeowners moving into Habitat’s current new construction community, Oxford Green. Your support brings families home!

Though Sierra grew up in West Philadelphia and is a new resident in North Philadelphia, she has already built connections with her Habitat neighbors in Oxford Green through the shared experience of buying their first homes. She discovered familial connections with a historical community partner, Pastor Chandra, who runs the United Baptist Church, and created new connections with a long-time resident, Mr. James who can remain in his family home after partnering with Habitat to complete critical repairs. Follow the directions below to join us on this journey through Sharswood!

You can help Habitat continue to grow connections in Philadelphia.

With your support, more families like Sierra’s can attain decent, affordable homes built on strength, stability, and self-reliance. More residents like Mr. James can remain in their homes with critical repairs that “build up” the community, and community groups like United Baptist Church and Pastor Chandra can continue to welcome residents into the neighborhood with open arms.
