Volunteers play a critical role at our ReStores and warehouse build days, and are a great addition to our construction sites when they’re available. There are currently limited build opportunities available.

Volunteer Opportunities
Build Volunteer Day
Build opportunities are currently limited.
Availability: Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
A full-day commitment is required for this opportunity.
Spend the day on a Habitat construction site building new homes alongside our team and future homeowners. Tasks may include framing, painting, or installing insulation. No experience needed – all training is provided on-site.
ReStore Volunteer Day
Availability: Monday – Sunday | 10am – 1pm or 1pm – 4pm
Spend the day at the Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia ReStore working alongside our team. Tasks may include organizing and stocking donations, building furniture, and cleaning. All proceeds from the ReStore go directly to building and selling more affordable homes in Philadelphia.
Photography Volunteer Day
Spend the day alongside Habitat staff, volunteers, and homeowners capturing the magic of our events and volunteer days. Personal camera required.
Warehouse Volunteer Day
Spend a half or full day alongside Habitat staff in our warehouse on 19th Street taking inventory, maintaining the lot, painting, and more.

Our committees are led by members of the Board of Directors and Habitat staff. If you’re interested in joining a committee, please reach out to begin a brief vetting process.
