Following the repairs to Anthony’s home, it has continued to be a safe haven, with each room now occupied by a veteran in recovery. In addition to the shelter the home provides to veterans, the community Anthony has cultivated promotes healing for the group, with a focus on acknowledging their shared trauma and mental health. Anthony now works at the VA in Wilmington, Delaware, where he provides counsel to veterans.
