We raised more than $83,000 during our second annual Habitat Day of Giving. While we didn’t reach our ultimate goal, these funds mean that four or more Habitat families get to stay in their homes thanks to our critical home repairs program.
We will continue to stretch and grow, because the need for affordable housing in Philadelphia is not going away. Thank you for joining us in our belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live.

Tenaja’s Journey to Homeownership

Tenaja’s journey to homeownership can be summed up in one word: perseverance. Sticking with the program through challenges and delays beyond her control, she never gave up on achieving her dream, and in August she proudly took the keys alongside five of her new Habitat neighbors at the Page Street dedication ceremony.
