Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia

Women Build Volunteer Lunch and Learn

Wednesday, March 10, 12:00 PM

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia invites you to join us each month as we take a deeper dive into some lesser-known parts of our work.

Each month, volunteers and other guests will have the opportunity for a behind the scenes look into the varied ways Habitat for Humanity is working to address the need for affordable housing in Philadelphia. You will have the opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about volunteering with Habitat Philadelphia while learning more about the work we do! You can ask questions and even have discussions with our local Habitat experts.

Coinciding with International Women Build Week, this month’s Lunch and Learn will feature a conversation between Executive Director of the Sharswood Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC), Darnetta Arce, and Habitat Philadelphia Community Coordinator, Tia Abdulhadi. These women leaders will talk about the ways Sharswood residents have worked alongside Habitat Philadelphia to build and revitalize. Please join us to learn more about the various women who make change and have a powerful voice in the Sharswood community.

Please RSVP below to join us for this rare and unique opportunity to hear from one of our long term volunteers!

Please note that Lunch and Learns may not be used in place of a Volunteer Orientation.`
