Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia

Philanthropy and Impact Lunch and Learn

Wednesday, December 16, 12:00 PM

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia invites you to join us each month as we take a deeper dive into some lesser-known parts of our work.

Each month, volunteers and other guests will have the opportunity for a behind the scenes look into the varied ways Habitat for Humanity is working to address the need for affordable housing in Philadelphia. You will have the opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about volunteering with Habitat Philadelphia while learning more about the work we do! You can ask questions and even have discussions with our local Habitat experts.

Did you know for every dollar you donate to Habitat Philadelphia nearly $2 is returned in value to our community? Did you know that Habitat Philadelphia fundraises completely independently from Habitat International?

This month, we will be learning from our resident fundraising expert and Senior Director of Institutional Advancement, Kathryn Fernandez. Perhaps you’ve wondered how Habitat Philadelphia can financially sustain home building and repairs. Where does the money come from? How do we use it? During this Lunch and Learn, you will hear stories and anecdotes from Fernandez’s extensive experience, learning about the impact charitable gifts have on our families. You do not want to miss this chance to learn tips, theory, and practical application from a seasoned nonprofit leader, with a special “first to know” sneak peek at some of our upcoming initiatives!

Please RSVP below to join us for this rare and unique opportunity to hear from one of our local Habitat experts!

Please note that Lunch and Learns may not be used in place of a Volunteer Orientation.
