2024 Summer Impact Report
Your Impact: Making ‘One Day’ Possible
“One day, I’ll own my own home…”
“One day, my children will feel safe and secure in a place of their own…”
“One day, I will have the space to breathe, to thrive, to pursue opportunities…”
A ‘one day’ mindset demands a relentless belief in what is possible. You support Habitat Philadelphia because you believe we will — together — build a city where all belong.
Your audacious, unshakable belief was on full display at this year’s Building Hope Luncheon, as 394 donors and 58 sponsors raised a record $724,000 to create opportunity through affordable homeownership and critical home repair.
‘One Day’ starts with ‘Day One’
Day One…
— break ground on four new homes in West Philadelphia.
— celebrate five new homeowners in Strawberry Mansion.
— complete 125 home repairs in a single year for the first time.
— lead 12 Pennsylvania affiliates to advocate for smarter housing policies.
When you support Habitat Philadelphia, you build community and open doors of opportunity. There is more than enough to make ‘one day’ possible. There is more education, health and wealth building — more birthday parties, graduations and holiday dinners.
Thank you for your partnership as we build hope alongside more Philadelphia families. Home is the key — a fundamental right — and with your support, we will continue to build, repair and advocate — today, tomorrow and every day — until we all arrive at ‘one day.’
