Golden Hammer Givers

Cars for Homes

Donate your vehicle to help build homes.

By donating a car to Habitat's Cars for Homes™ car donation program, you help Habitat Philadelphia build houses in partnership with families in need of decent, affordable shelter. It is quick and easy to donate a car, truck, boat, RV, motorcycle, construction equipment or other vehicle - running or not! Plus, your vehicle donation may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize. (Consult the IRS or your tax adviser for details.)

Matching Gifts

Did you know that a matching gift could double or triple your donation? Many corporations will match employee or retiree gifts. Obtain a matching gifts form from your Human Resources, Community Relations Department or online and include it with your donation. Be sure to fill it out and sign the donor section before sending the form. If you need assistance, please contact Caitlin Holland, Development Associate at 215-765-6000 x17 or caitlinh@habitatphiladelphia.org.
 

Planned Gifts

Give a gift that will last for generations.  Help address the affordable housing crisis now and in the future by making a planned gift, such as an estate bequest, charitable gift annuities and others to Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia.  To learn more about your options when establishing a planned gift, please contact our Director of Development, Corinne O'Connell at corinneo@habitatphiladelphia.org or 215.765.6000 x22.

Real Estate and Property

Gifts of land, personal property, a vacation home, or rental property may be made to Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia. Stocks, Mutual Funds or Bonds

Celebration and Memorial Gifts

As you plan gifts for family and friends this year, consider a gift that keeps on giving long after the wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, holiday or other special event. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send an acknowledgement card indication that you’ve made a gift to Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia in honor of, or in memory of, the person you are celebrating. Be sure to include the name and address of the person who will receive the card, whether you are donating online through our secure server or sending in a check to Habitat headquarters.  To make a gift in honor of a loved one, please contact our Development Associate, Caitlin Holland at caitlinh@habitatphiladelphia.org or 215.765.6000 x17.
