Groups

Habitat Philadelphia relies on volunteers for every aspect of its program.   We work with groups of volunteers as well as individuals to build affordable homes with our partner families. 

The Basics:
-The maximum number of volunteers in a group is 10.  Since we work on Philadelphia row homes, we can only safely accommodate and supervise 10 volunteers per site.  If your organization is looking to do a project with a large number of volunteers, your best resource would be to contact Greater Philadelphia Cares, www.philacares.com.
-We can also work with smaller groups of 3-7, these groups may be on site with other volunteers as well.
-At this time, we have a limited number of build days available for the winter, contact our Volunteer Coordinator if you are interested in a Group Build Day.
-We ask that all groups that work with us fundraise to cover the cost of their build day.  Lunch is included for all groups who make donations, as well as a brief Habitat info/questions and answer session during lunch.  We will work with you on fundraising ideas if needed.
