Hey ladies, tired of having to hire a contractor to fix every little thing in your house? Learn hands-on construction skills in these classes - by women, for women!

Classes are held on Saturdays at our warehouse.  Tuition is $300 and includes a course binder used in each class.
Lauren Mariani, a private contractor and former Habitat Philadelphia staff member, teaches the course. Each class includes a morning lecture followed by hands-on practice in the afternoon. This is the kind of class where you will get to try everything out - you won't just be watching the instructor do it.

Since these are full-day classes, participants should be comfortable standing for a few hours at a time and should know that parts of the class will take place in our unheated/cooled warehouse. Participants will be responsible for their own lunches.
